Matthiasson 2021 Magnum Rose

1.5 Liters. This is, as it has been, just so very bright, light, and pretty. The nose shows precise aromas of peach, stone fruits, a bit of savory herbs, watermelon and white raspberry. The palate is light and oh so very enjoyable dominated by flavors of peach and watermelon. With this rose on shelf, we welcome the coming rose weather. D&M Tasting Notes

Our 2021 Rosé was made from a combination of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Counoise from the Windmill Vineyard in the Dunnigan Hills, Barbera from the Muller Vineyard in the Dunnigan Hills, and Syrah grapes from the Hurley Vineyard in Napa Valley. Its citrusy aromas and clean flavors will complement the wonderful spring foods that show up on the table as the weather thaws (salads, rabbit, frittatas, peas, favas, green garlic…). Perfect for springtime holiday meals, or enjoying on the porch all summer. All three vineyards are lovingly farmed organically. Winery Notes
