Luneta Cuerno Small Batch Agave Spirits

Master Distillers Jesus and Daniel Navarro.  Batch 011/2022 produced 82 bottles. 48.5% ABV Made in San Luis Potosi, Mexico

All bottles have 750ml. of liquid, but the glass is hand blown so the fills will differ.

The aromas jump from the glass with mesquite, some light citrus, earth and clay. Second whiff brings a bit of fermented citrus and tropical fruits.  The palate is like a charcuterie board of smoked meats with a creamy, floral texture. There is a nice touch of fresh anise fonds on the finish.  D&M Tasting Notes

The Navarro family has been utilizing a unique clay pot still (campanilla) and other ancestral techniques for at least 4 generations. They are one of the last families to maintain this 400+ year tradition.

Daniel and Jesus gather wild Cuerno (Salmiana agave) from the desert hills of San Luis Potosi. These large and flavorful agaves typically mature in 15 to 16 years. Importer Notes
