Leitz Eins Zwei Zero Chardonnay

This is made up of Chardonnay that was grown in the Pfaltz in Germany. It comes to a final 22.8 grams of Residual Sugar (where the flavor adheres to in the absence of alcohol) The nose shows some soft citrus, and does not have the floral lift of the Riesling. The palate similarly has some texture from the residual sugar with citrus and a bit of malolactic roundness. D&M Tasting Notes

This alcohol-free Chardonnay is our latest addition to the EINS-ZWEI-ZERO-portfolio. It offers an original character that is clean with fresh fruit and citrus. The intensity of the acidity is not to compare with the ZERO Riesling. This crisp Chardonnay shows a dry finish and relatively long aftertaste. Of course, an alcohol-free wine never will give the same depth, structure and weight as a wine with alcohol, but this is extremely close to it and it is simply an alcohol-free wine tasting wine.
