Sherry Barrel Finish.  100% Japanese Indica Rice, Black Koji

The natural honey and sherry aroma of this whisky makes it a delightful sip. Dominant sherry notes with a nice mix of molasses and corn syrup. Strong fruity flavors with a bit of balsamic vinegar and a hint of sweetness like rum mousse. A long aftertaste, first comes with bitterness, then later brings out a touch of enduring sweet surrender, which reminds of a lovely combination of cognac and rum. A well balanced expression of a unique whisky of its kind.

From the distillery Kumesen Syuzo, for a limited release only comes a new whisky from Kujira with the same great ingredients but aged exclusively in Spanish Sherry Cask. Reserved for 12 years, this Small batch expression brings the fruit forward nature of Sherry to the flavors of Okinawa.
