• Knez Winery 2013 Anderson Valley Pinot Noir

This impressed us for the price as well as the quality. The nose shows a wonderfully subdued aroma set of red fruit, earth, barrel spice, light minerals and sweet raspberry. The palate has an excellent mix of sweet red fruits, loamy earth and a kiss on minerals to finish. Excellent balanced California Pinot Noir. D&M Tasting Notes

Having sold their prized Anderson Valley Vineyards to Kosta Browne, Knez Winery is getting out of the wine game, so are offering incredible deals on remaining stock, which we are passing on to you.

The 2013 Pinot Noir (Anderson Valley) is quite floral, lifted and delicate in style. Raspberry, crushed flowers and mint are some of the notes that grace this pretty, entry-level offering from Knez. Today, the 2013 comes across as a bit ethereal, with plenty of influence from the 50-60% whole clusters. The wine's mid-weight personality leads me to think it is best enjoyed sooner rather than later. The 2013 is approximately 2/3rds Cerise and 1/3rd Demuth fruit. 90 Points Antonio Galloni, Vinous
