• Jean-Paul Brun 2018 Magnum Beaujolais

1.5 Liters. Terres Dorees L'Ancien. Made from Jean-Paul's oldest vines, which grow in tighter bunches with fewer and smaller, thicker-skinned berries, yielding more concentrated flavor. The grapes are harvested late with a naturally high sugar level. The wine is vinified using traditional Burgundy techniques. Deeply colored with rich red-fruit aroma and flavor and soft tannins.

I started Terres Dorées in 1979 with 4 hectares of vines. We are currently at about 30 hectares. I am based in Charnay, a village in the Southern Beaujolais with limestone soils. I also own 15 hectares spread between other crus of the Beaujolais, namely Côte de Brouilly, Morgon, Moulin a Vent and Fleurie, all of which are on granite soils. Jean Paul Brun
