Armagnac Goudoulin was founded in 1935 by Jeanne Menal Goudoulin born in 1887 in Mouchan in the Gers. Jeanne Goudoulin became the owner of Domaine de Bigor in Courrensan in 1908, and following the death of her husband Joseph Goudoulin in 1925, following war wounds of 14/18, she operated alone her estate Domaine de Bigor located in Courrensan in Bas Armagnac.
In the 30s and 40s, she sells her Armagnacs on the markets and in particular on the Bearnaise region
It has a large stock of Armagnac, accumulated by itself and previous generations and decided to market it directly in 1935.
In 1964, his grandson Christian Faure comes to lend him a hand. In 1967, he took over the estate after several years spent with his grandmother who will transmit all his knowledge and all his art on the job.
In 2009, after developing the brand's activity and reputation, Christian Faure retired. Michel Miclo, owner of the family distillery G. Miclo in Alsace acquires the Armagnacs Veuve Goudoulin and sets up a team whose mission is to develop a new influence of the brand while preserving the authenticity and recognized quality of Armagnac.
Thanks to its large personal stocks, Armagnac Veuve Goudoulin presents very old vintages, of a remarkable quality, which will give you satisfaction as well by their finesse as by their aroma and bouquet, all coming from the best soils.
Since 2009, Goudoulin has regained its premium positioning as one of the most renowned houses in the world of Armagnac.
