Erste-Neue 2021 Pinot Grigio

From a quality minded co-op from the Sudtirol region in northern Italy. The nose shows a clean and precise aspect with lime zest, just there peanut skin, and white fleshed stone fruits. The palate is light and lively with aromas of lime, stone fruits, and a bit of crushed rocks. D&M Tasting Notes

Pinot Grigio sometimes lacks the vivid freshness of Pinot Bianco, but the best examples from the Alto Adige have the typical varietal texture and spice notes punched up with bright acidity.
