Delamotte was founded in 1760 in the heart of the Côte des Blancs. Delamotte is a little House thatcasts a long shadow, being in its time associated with the coronation of the last French king, as well as being thebig sister House to the precocious and selective Salon. In fact, Salon and Delamotte share staff of ten to produce both house’s magical Champagnes. The total production of the house of Delamotte is roughly one sixth of the amount of Dom Perignon alone that is produced. For their entire line, all fruit comes from Grand Cru Villages.
