Deanston Virgin Oak Single Malt Scotch Whisky

This Deanston bottling is a blend of six to 10 year old Scotch from the distillery’s stocks. Aromas of an apple orchard mix with dried apricots, honey dew melon and fresh oak. On the tongue, up front vanilla mix with spice, lots of fruit and rich oak. All the flavorsare well balanced with a slight herb note that finishes with a slightly malted character. NOSE.

Virgin Oak tantalises the senses with a light lemon zest and sweet barley sugar fragrance with hints of apple and nutmeg 

TASTE. 

As it coats your mouth, think candied fruits with vanilla toffee and heather honey

Deanston is situated a few miles from the historic town of Stirling in the very heart of Scotland and is our largest distillery. It started life as a cotton mill before being transformed into a distillery in 1966 where, to this day, it produces an outstanding Highland single malt Whisky which is handmade, un-chillfiltered, natural colour and bottled at a strength of 46.3%. There are no computers used in production as we prefer to rely on the ancient art of distilling and the keen eye of our craftsmen to guarantee quality in every drop of this precious liquid.
