Christophe Mignon AdN de Meunier Brut Nature Champagne

 100% Pinot Meunier. Christophe is a bit of a Meunier specialist, and this cuvee comes from the two villages of Festigny and Le Breuil west of Epernay. This comes equally from the 2017 and 2018 vintages, and as the cuvee name implies is entirely made up of Pinot Meunier. (The ADN is the French acronym for English's DNA.) The nose shows yellow fleshed stone fruits mostly in the apricot family with spice and a bit of clay minerality. The palate has a texture and presence to it with apricot and yellow plum fruits nicely balanced by spice and mineral notes. D&M Tasting Notes
