• Chateau Haut Sarthes 2016 Bergerac

Back in the day Bordeaux tried to kill Bergerac, to lessen competition. Trying this we can see why. The nose shows plum, currant, tar, earth light game, and a red rope licorice. The palate has some grip to it with deep black fruits, licorice, and a rustic finish of game and earth. Lovely fuller French. D&M Tasting Notes

A blend of 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Cabernet Franc that was aged in stainless steel tanks
