Varnished pine in color with a bright olive highlight. The nose is light, bright and grapey. On the palate this comes across as a very bright, fruit driven brandy. It has great depth and complexity without showing any heaviness of weight. It finishes soft and warming. A great example of the Ténaréze style and a bargain! Importer Notes

Purchased shortly after World War II, by its current owner, Gaston Béraut, the vineyard has grown to 140 hectares, making it one of the largest single properties in the region. 5-10% of the whole is used for fermentation. Young Folle Blanche and older Ugni Blanc are planted on argilo-calcaires, boulbènes (clay with a high proportion of limestone, some sand parcels with pieces of clay).
