This orange liqueur embodies the taste of Sardinia and its sun. It was 1986 when Paolo Melis and Enrico Diana founded Bresca Dorada in the countryside of Muravera, ideal place to start with over 600 bee hives. Later they expanded and began making liqueurs. Anyone who has tasted the oranges from Muravera says they are the best in the world. It isn't just apopular belief, but the micro-climate and the kind of soil which combine to give the citrus fruit of Muravera and the surrounding Sarrabus area such an excellent reputation. This pleasant liqueur with its intense scent of fresh fruit, is obtained from orange peel steeped in alcohol.
Its taste, typical of orange, is moderately sweet, fresh, pleasant and unmistakeable.
Drunk after meals, at a temperature of about 4°C, it is an excellent digestive, great when added to a sorbet or a bowl of ice cream. Importer Notes
