• Barolo Chinato Cocchi 500mL

The nose is hard cinnamon candy, with notes of chocolate. Chinar is very present on the palate, but it is well blended the bittersweet chocolate notes. This goes down so nice! D&M Tasting Notes

Famous in Piemonte, Barolo Chinato Cocchi is a wine of D.O.C.G. Barolo infused with quinine bark, rhubarb, ginger, and a variety of other aromatic spices. In this wine you'll find a richness and complexity of flavors unparalleled in wines of its category. Giulio Cocchi's original recipe remains unchanged from its introduction in 1891 and has since attracted many imitations. Traditionally enjoyed after dinner, pairing exceptionally well with dark chocolate. In Piemonte its also the core element to the vin brulé popular in winter.
